The transit stage between manuscript and book, and the first setting in type of an immortal shard of Western literature, urging the reader to always be a little kinder than necessary, tackling the struggle between a need for stability and a desire for freedom, and featuring an investment in friendship more simply and truly portrayed than if it had really happened.
