Herzl Camp [Wisconsin]: 1957. Holograph manuscript in blue ink, on both sides of a single sheet of 8 1/2” X 11” paper, titled at the top, and signed (Bobby Zimmerman) at the end. A reworking (adaption) of the 1948 Hank Snow song, 33 lines, 233 words, 4 small corrections, all of it in Dylan’s handwriting, (the entire lyrics of 16 year old Dylan’s version, as published in The Herzl Herald). Small ragged chips and narrow stain to a part of the top edge else near fine. This is Dylan incunabula, the earliest handwritten lyrics, I have seen, for any song. Ownership title is clear, seldom true these days. Very good. Item #250
