MINT MOVING WITH CAESAR in Spain: 17, 46BCE. Head of Venus (rt.) wearing diadem, cupid at her shoulder. “CAESAR” in exergue on rev. below seated captives. About extremely fine, light gray toning with a tiny area of penny red highlights behind Venus’ neck and across her brow on the obv. and light golden glows to about a third of the fields on the rev. 18.5 mm. 4.01 grams.
