Ninth Week [and] Revenge Can Wait
Philadelphia: Penn, 1935. Hardcover. Ninth Week: 1st edition, showcasing an old mansion, Gothic in its history and sinister in its present. Tied to it are a criminal gang, a secret murder, and a generational family feud that conjoin and culminate during a marathon dance on a nearby beach. Original cloth and dustjacket, that would both be very good, except for a vertical crease the length of the book’s back cover, pastedown endpaper, and free endpaper, dustjacket with some abrasions to the inside panels.
Revenge Can Wait (NY [Putnam], 1941): 1st edition. A murder mystery. Owner’s name to front endpaper, small bookshop sticker to rear pastedown endpaper, one bumped corner, else near fine in a very good, and scarce dustjacket. Very good. Item #840
